Modern Toilet (便所主题餐厅) is a bathroom-themed restaurant established in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Out of its 12 branches in Taiwan, one is in Ximending, Taipei.
From its interior decorations to its furnitures, all things are based from items in a bathroom. Bathtubs and sinks are made into tables while chairs are actual toilets.
This uniquely-themed restaurant served its food in miniature toilet bowls, squat toilets and urinals. The food tasted okay, not delicious but not bad.
Modern Toilet restaurant is located at 2F, No. 7, Lane 50, Xi-Ning South Road, Taipei, Taiwan. This restaurant is quite difficult to find especially if you're a tourist. It is best to ask locals for directions.
