Palawan in Panorama

Palawan is an island province in the Philippines located between the the South China Sea and Sulu Sea. Palawan is consist of several islands including the largest which is the Palawan Island and other small islands such as Coron, Busuanga and Cullion.

In 2007, Palawan was cited by National Geographic Traveller as the "Best Island Destination" in the East and Southeast Asia. It also ranked as the 13th best island in the world to have incredibly beautiful seascapes and landscapes.

Palawan boasts the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park or the Puerto Princesa Underground River. In 2012, it was officially confirmed as one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.
